Like a broken mirror, Languis' "Follow Me" reflects the struggles of everyday life in a shattered way. The record could be considered its darkest in many ways, yet at the same time is the most dreamy, acoustic and song-based release the band has had so far.
All throughout the songs there's a feeling of an empty house. Sheets over the furniture and an unfinished pencil drawing that was left half way colored. "Follow Me" doesn't try to be anything, and Languis reaches a point in this record of absolute disinterest in following trends. There's not much more to say about this collection of songs that are both beautiful and tragic. Recorded over the years and in many states, during long nights and in many locations. It is almost as if the band had left but the instruments kept playing.
