Languis - "Monobloc, Volume 1, 2, 3 & 4"

Monobloc is a series of 4 releases created by the Languis that could have easily been a project in its own. Instead Alejandro and Marcos decided to keep this music under the Languis name, after all, the sounds themselves that make this music come from the unused tracks the band discarded in the past.

Under the idea of never ever throwing anything away, Languis composed Monobloc exclusively out of the discards from unfinished songs, ideas that never developed, lost sounds found in forgotten hard drives, and arrangements from songs that made it to the album, but the arrangements themselves ended up in the chopping board.

Monobloc is an album of discards, but not of discarded songs. Like searching in the trash and making something new out of what was thought previously as nothing, became something. All four volumes are very abstract and dark in its nature, with some moving into uncontrollable noise and the ultra low frequencies.

Although Monobloc took only three of four years to be made, it took a lot more to compile it in the right order and find the right format for it. The tracks switched order, and length countless times, and every attempt in the last few years to get this work out in the world failed for one reason or another. Finally, here it is, all four volumes of Monobloc by Languis!!!
