In "I'll See You Again Someday" Languis goes back to exploring sound and its relationship with melody. From the Beach Boys to Morton Subotnik, Languis tries to find that middle place that glues all together.
While mostly instrumental, the song "Come Visit Me" features vocals by Tracy Uba, former member of Timonium and the main force behind Sugao. Also their good friend Elvin Estela (aka Nobody) provided additional keyboards and percussion on the song "Carpet."
The making of this record happened in between other projects, other recordings, and other records, in a way it could be called a compilation, but the themes that unite these tracks prevents "I'll See You Again Someday" from being just that. The title itself suggest a similar nature for this record. It acknowledges that things will come back, for good or for bad, weather we want it to happen or not. But trying to make best out of it.
On this release Languis is not trying to make a point, or create a highly influential, ground-breaking record. Its simplistic attitude resumes what the band is about these days. They focus on what matters when it comes to working on music, which is to enjoy the process.
