ABS is the experimental, noise project of brothers Benjamin and Sebastian. Developed in the midst of the pandemic (13 and 9 years old respectively), the brothers used their home studio in Los Angeles, to create 12 pieces that range from sound collage, to pure noise as a means to channel newly discovered influences, and recording techniques. The results portray isolation, boredom and curiosity combined with influences that range from Morton Subotnik to Sonic Youth and everything in between. This first full length release named “LP1”, is a follow up to their first song released on Suzanne Kraft’s compilation “Against Police Brutality” where they cover The Fall’s “Totally Wired.”
